Yamato released sometime ago replica helmets of the three ace pilots from Super Dimension Fortress Macross (Oct 2009).

Hikaru Ichijo (Red Helmet) is a limited edition only available to fan-club members (Yamato members). Hikaru Ichijo, Roy Focker (Yellow) and Maximillian Jenius (Blue). Each helmet is estimated to costs USD 1,500.00.

I Am Number Four

I Am Number Four is based on a novel by Pittacus Lore, the first of a proposed 6 books series. Entertaining show less the close combat scenes, which are too fast to see anything on screen. Synopsis can be found here, Wikipedia.

The Liquidmetal® alloy is an amorphous metal – a metallic material with a disordered, non-crystalline atomic structure. Its fusion temperature is half that of conventional titanium alloys but when it is cooled, its hardness is three times as great as that of stainless steel.
